The design of most social media lends to an incomplete picture of the user. It is up us to decide how we want to paint ourselves for the public. I believe that my generation of college students is doing this in a more strategic way than ever.
My mission is to take a deeper look at how Cal Poly SLO students are using (or trying to use) social media to brand themselves. Whether their goal is to become an influencer, find sponsorships, relationships, or jobs, I want to talk to the people behind the internet personas.
